My family and I stayed at the Taj Palace hotel in New Dehli for a wedding this past December. While staying there, we decided to stop by the Orient Express for a nice dinner. We decided to go with the a la carte options. They started out meal with a yogurt and patte spread to go with their bread service. For appetizers and soups, we got the lobster bisque and roasted duck. For dinner we got the rack of lamb, and pasta. Service at this restaurant is fantastic. Waiters are knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. If I ever go back to Dehli I would come back to this restaurant. 10/10 Would recommend!

A special adventure: the scene is peculiar, the atmosphere is special, the piano sounds excellent, and the diner is sublime. With all respect, menu can be changed. An excellent list of wines. And the service cannot be better. So….,

Beautiful restaurant with train like setting. The live pianist was a gentleman and adapted to the crowd, took our song request and very talented. The staff is very attentive with drinks and they have a great drink menu. The food itself was nice and they served with such a great attention to details. A true fine dining experience and great vibe. A must try restaurant if you are in the area or staying in the hotel.

This was the dining highlight of our recent visit to India. Excellent service in a unique setting, with truly wonderful food. We were treated like royalty throughout by the lovely and personable staff who contributed to a magical evening. And a mention to the lovely Ukrainian singer in the bar area who indulged some of our special song requests!

I wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time. The concept of a restaurant shaped like the famous Orient Express is something that intrigued me. To say I wasn't disappointed is an understatement. I was overwhelmed by the ambience of the place. Built along the lines of the fabulous train made even more famous by the novel by Agatha Christie and consequent movie of the same name, this restaurant is another jewel in the crown of the Taj group. Attention to detail, unobstusive service, a choice of delectable wines, a sumptuous array of continental cuisine and live music made it an experience to remember.
